Press Release: FIGFCU Announces $100,000 In Charitable Donations – Los Angeles, CA

Farmers Insurance Federal Credit Union made three donations totaling $100,000 on behalf of its membership.

President & Chief Executive Officer, Laura Campbell, remarked that the donation “is made possible by the generosity of our members and strength of our reserves—and reflects both our collective spirit and commitment to helping members build better financial lives. She added that “the money will be put to immediate good use, including the funding and support of our children’s hospitals.”

Donations were made to the following organizations:

Founded in 1936, Farmers Insurance Federal Credit Union (the Credit Union) is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution that exists primarily to serve Farmers Insurance Group, as well as other Select Employer Groups, across the country.

The Credit Union recently exceeded a significant threshold—achieving over $1BN in assets—and consistently rates as one of the most financially robust credit unions in its peer group. It currently ranks in the top 6 percent of U.S. credit unions by assets. Working in partnership with more than 55,000 members, the Credit Union provides financial services that help build financial independence, and turn dreams and aspirations into reality.
