I can’t believe the year is halfway over and summer is already here.
Another thing that’s arrived, I’m delighted to report, is Tulee, our new digital banking platform. If you’ve already enrolled I hope you’re enjoying the new banking experience.

And if you need help setting things up or finding your way around Tulee, don’t hesitate to contact us. Excited as we are with Tulee, it’s just part of our long-term plan for members, and I’m glad to report that we’re well on track. Recently we had a banking econometrics expert review and analyze our performance over the last four years to help identify how we could improve compared to the rest of the credit union industry. A byproduct of this was a set of metrics that compared us to industry performance averages.
I was delighted to learn that our overall performance was exceptional. We ranked in the top 1% of all U.S. credit unions. I know that numbers are meaningless if we don’t meet your expectations every day and the day after and so on. But it’s nice to know that our recent performance, including through the tough pandemic years, was on par with the best of the best. I hope this reassures you that your money, and the trust that goes with it, are in great hands.
Finally, one of the reasons we got such a strong rating are our exceptional deposit earning rates. We aim to stay among the top in the nation for earnings on checking balances and savings. And this value also extends to everyday tools like our Credit Cards. If you ever pay interest on balances, or know someone who does, our Select Visa is a great asset, with an interest rate so low it’s actually nearly less than half the rate of most bank-issued cards. You’ll spend a lot less on interest payments, and a lot more on fun in the sun.
